Private consultation with Tetiana Shalahina

Private consultation with Tetiana Shalahina

Professional cosmetics selection consists of two important stages: a highly detailed skin diagnosis and the recommendation of products suitable for its type and condition. An integral part of the consultation is determining the goals of home care, for which the cosmetologist selects products and organizes them into a structured routine in the morning, evening, and sometimes an extended routine once a week. If you don't want to spend time studying the anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry of the skin, as well as trying out cosmetic products from the vast beauty market, professional selection will help you save time and resources.

During the consultation, you will receive:

Skin condition diagnosis: The specialist will conduct a detailed proprietary skin diagnosis based on 16 parameters exclusively developed within the SKINLIST project.

Determination of home care goals: Together with you, the specialist will establish achievable goals through home care, and if necessary will advise alternative methods to achieve these goals.

Selection of home care products: The specialist will select home care products according to your skin's needs, and will explain how, when, and in what sequence to correctly use these products.

Analysis of existing home care routine: You will get clear recommendations regarding the urgency of replacing existing products, comments on adequacy and possible mistakes in your skincare routine. However, it's important to understand that specialists do not recommend products from brands she doesn't have experience with or doesn't work with.

Recommendations for additional procedures: Upon your request, the specialist will advise on professional treatments in beauty salons or aesthetic clinics.

Recommendations for the combination of cosmetics with topical medications: Some skin conditions may require the use of pharmacological products prescribed by a doctor, but this doesn't mean cosmetics should be disregarded. Furthermore, cosmetics can complement and enhance the effects of medications or mitigate their side effects. The specialist has extensive experience in such situations and with such skin types, and will advise on whether to add cosmetics to the prescribed treatment and how to combine cosmetics with pharmaceutical products.
